While I’m participating in a number of challenges that hinge on how many books you’ve read throughout the year, I’m also participating in this Pages Read challenge hosted by Book Dragon’s Lair. Let’s face it, when you read one of those epic books that has several hundred pages (like the Hamilton biography I’m working on now), it almost seems as if it should count for more than one book. Now it can, heh.
I’m shooting for the “Dwarf Peach” level of 24,001-36,000 pages for 2017. I may move up a category, but I felt this was the best level to start at. After all, for most reading challenges, including this one, you can go up the ladder of levels, but not down.
** Update 1/9/17 – Based on how many pages I’ve read in just the first 9 days of 2017, I’ve upped my challenge level to that of “Oak” – between 48,001-60,000 pages.**
If you’re interested in joining the challenge, click on the button/link at the bottom and it’ll take you to the challenge’s main page.
